FocusFlex: Smart Fidgets for Better Learning
Most fidget toys don’t work well in classrooms. I wanted to design one that helps kids focus without being a distraction.
FocusFlex is designed for primary school students, especially those with ADHD or similar attention challenges. It’s discreet and looks like a learning tool. It helps kids stay focused, feel calm, and relieve stress during lessons.

The idea was to create a fidget toy that works well in schools. It looks educational, is small enough not to distract, and is safe for kids to use.
The toy is designed for different types of fidgeting to help with focus. The first version is made from soft, durable silicone. It’s easy to use with one hand, leaving the other free for schoolwork.

I worked on designing and testing a handheld toy for students with ADHD. The focus was on making it safe, durable, and easy to use. I chose materials like silicone or PLA because they’re tough and safe. The toy includes features for physical stimulation, based on feedback from users, to make it more practical and fun. The goal was to create something educational, comfortable to hold, and simple to use.
