2-in-1 Beach Racket

Beaches are covered in plastic waste, harming wildlife and damaging the environment. We wanted to create something fun and useful that also helps tackle this problem.
The idea was a multi-purpose beach game that's enjoyable for families and good for the planet.
We took a simple table tennis racket and made it better - a multi-purpose beach racket with a detachable handle. But the handle does more than just provide grip. It doubles as a ball-catching cone, adding another way to play.
To get the design right, we tested different shapes and materials. We started prototyping with cardboard and foam models, then used 3d printing to fine-tune the details. Our focus was on comfort, durability, and making it simple to produce.
The final racket is made from cork-coated wood with a polypropylene cone, shaped like an ice cream cone for a better grip. We even engraved dolphin patterns onto the surface to highlight its eco-friendly purpose.
This game isn't just about fun - it's a way for beachgoers to enjoy the coast while being part of the solution. A small step towards cleaner beaches, one game at a time.
